A family business, investing in new ones.

Shree Lakshmi Ventures invests its own capital in early-stage food, beverage, and technology companies. We write early checks, answer quickly, and stay useful where we genuinely can.

Approach

How we work.

We invest our own money rather than someone else's. There is no fund clock, no investment committee, and no pressure to deploy on a schedule — which means we can take the time to understand a business and stay patient long after we've invested.

Our family has spent years in the food and beverage industry. That background shapes how we read a consumer business — margins, packaging, what makes a product repeat. Where that experience is useful to a company, we offer it. Where it isn't, we say so and get out of the way.

01

Our own capital

No fund clock and no committee to convince. We can decide quickly, and we don't need an exit on anyone else's timeline.

02

Industry familiarity

Years around food and beverage inform how we evaluate consumer businesses — unit economics, packaging, and what actually drives repeat purchase.

03

Straight answers

A fast yes or no, and honesty about where we can help and where we can't. We would rather be a useful small shareholder than an overcommitted one.

Focus

What we back.

We invest at the earliest stages, usually alongside founders who are still proving the thing works. We are generalists within two areas we know well.
